  Nice Campground - sadly a fair amount of road noise from the highway in the Upper Campground. Great showers and new Toilets. Would go back just pick a spot further from the road.

  Great sport to picnic, it's a bit on top of one another but cosy would be a good word to describe the lower camp grounds. The lake is great to swim and sunset is rather good, don't expect a lot of room for your stuff as the beach is rather small

  I don't really understand the negative reviews here; it is a gorgeous lake and the water isn't as cold as Canadians waters are. It was pretty warm when I went and there aren't really a lot of places in the "sands" to sit. I can imagine how crowded it gets on a weekend but I'm sure you can walk more to get to more places, after all it's 300 km of shorelines. The view is really gorgeous and unexpected. The sand isn't really sand, but small rocks, so do wear some flipflops or something. Parking lot isn't that huge and I Didn't see signs of a parking fee.
